OUR SHIPMENT / PAYMENT TERMS
We ship saddles anywhere in the USA or Canada by United Parcel Service (UPS).This is our preferred carrier.Our payment terms are strict. We must have the money before shipment. For your convenience, we take four major credit cards (Mastercard, Visa,Discover, and American Express). This is our preferred method of payment. Saddles can be shipped C.O.D. for cash payment only (USA shipments only). Payment by check can be done (USA shipments only) but the saddle must be held at our shop until the check clears our bank (about 10 days).Then it will be promptly shipped. We do accept checks (USA only) for deposits on custom ordered saddles, but the remaining balance due must be paid according to the above terms. Saddles shipped to Canada must be pre-paid by bank to bank wire transfer or by credit card.Freight charges must be paid in advance also.
We no longer ship internationally to any country except Canada.
We will gladly ship a product to a third party (USA address) for forwarding.

A Note About Trade -Ins
We much prefer to sell saddles outright for money, but we will consider a used saddle for trade in value toward the purchase of a new saddle. Generally, you as the owner can sell it for more than we can allow you (valuation) because our profit is tied up in the used saddle until we are able to sell it. For that reason the value we can allow must be discounted some in order for us to re-sell it easilyWe prefer to trade for those saddles bearing the name stamps:Tim Piland Custom Saddles

These two brands are easier for us to re-sell, since the name belongs to us.
Saddles of other brands must be evaluated by Tim on a case by case basis. The value of the saddle to us is determined by its sale-ability, the market for used saddles, and whether an agreed trade in value can be negotiated. Attention!
